NBA – (501) CLEVELAND at (502) ORLANDO 7:05 ET FSOH, FSFL
Cleveland has lost 12 of 18 and seen their lead dwindle to just two games in the Central Division. Every basketball bettor is aware of how bad their defense has played, but here is the real proof. During this elongated stretch, the Cavaliers have allowed 113.1 PPG! Little wonder the total in this encounter shot up from 221 to 225.5. The Orlando defense has been nearly as bad in their past five contests allowing 111.4 PPG. Nonetheless, I have an NBA system relating to a poor team like the Magic, who are off an upset win over a division rival as an underdog, playing a winning team. This system is 32-9 UNDER.

Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Under
NBA – (511) WASHINGTON at (512) PHILADELPHIA 8:05 ET TNT
Had a hard time trying to determine why Washington, whose on a five-game winning streak (matching spread record), would rise from +4.5 to +6 or +6.5 point underdog at Philadelphia. Sure, everyone is in a good mood in Philly because of the Super Bowl, but the Sixers are 1-4 SU and ATS in their last five. Based on the situation, the 76ers are 30-13 ATS coming off a road setback and the Wizards did play last night and are in third-game/ four-night spot, but Washington is solid14-5 ATS as an underdog.
Betting Trend – 80% backing Philadelphia
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Washington
CBB – (555) MISSOURI at (556) MISSISSIPPI 9:00 ET SECN
With Missouri off impressive wins over Alabama and Kentucky, oddsmakers made them one-point favorites at Ole Miss. Bettors disagreed and flipped the Rebels to -1.5, as Mississippi is 9-0 ATS after an SEC away defeat. Other than Auburn and possibly Tennessee, anything is possible in the Southeastern Conference nightly. With Ole Miss 6-0 ATS after a 15-point or more thumping, I’ll lean that direction.
Betting Trend – 60% backing Missouri
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Mississippi
CBB – (565) BOISE STATE at (566) NEW MEXICO 10:00 ET ESPNU
I will be honest, this is a contest I’m looking forward to watching. Boise State is 19-4 and in second place in the MWC. New Mexico is a .500 squad, but has improved and is 7-4 in conference action and its offense is a red-hot at home, averaging 86.5 PPG. The Lobos opened at +2 and have been switched to -1.5 against the Broncos. Though I really do like what I have seen from Boise State, the Broncos are just 1-5 and 2-4 ATS at The Pit.
Betting Trend – 70% backing Boise State
