Tuesday’s Top Line Moves

We have mixture of college hoops and action on the frozen pond for Line Moves on Tuesday. Always review the nuggets since they are worth a look.

    CBB – (547) CAL-IRVINE at (548) WYOMING 9:00 EST  MTN

The total on this Western-flavored affair has fallen two points from -135.5 to 133.5. In terms of justification, Cal- Irvine scores just 61.2 points away from home, on putrid 35.4 percent shooting accuracy. Wyoming’s defense has been tremendous all year at 49.9 points per game allowed and limited opponents to just 35.7 percent shooting. The Cowboys are big 16-point home favorites and are 11-2 UNDER in that role since last season. The Anteaters coincidently are 9-1 OVER when the total is 130 to 139.5. 3DW PositionPlay Under

    CBB – (109) ILL-CHICAGO at (110) OREGON STATE  10:00 EST  CBS

President Obama’s brother in-law, coach Craig Robinson, has Oregon State off to 6-2 start this season and he’s receiving more positive support than the Commander-in-Chief himself, with the Beavers rising to -18.5 after beginning at -17. Oregon State is 15-5 ATS after a non-conference game, however if it was a big defeat, they are 4 -20 ATS at home off a home loss by 10 points or more. 3DW PositionIll-Chicago covers

There is a lot going on with hockey matchup. The Kings will be going with their interim coach John Stevens, after Terry Murray was fired yesterday. Boston opened at -175 on the money line, blew up to -200, but once it was announced goalie Tim Thomas was doubtful, the line fell off the cliff to -165. Expect this overreaction to correct itself and the Bruins rising as favorite since they are 12-2 playing only their second game in five days. 3DW Position – Boston wins

NHL – (71) MINNESOTA at (72) WINIPEG 8:35 EST FXNW, TSN

If you knew Minnesota was the first team to 20 wins this season, you either are big hockey fan or a quick study. The Wild have been the biggest surprise of the first half of the season as first-year coach Mike Yeo has meshed a host of new players into a cohesive unit. Minnesota began the day as +100 road underdogs despite riding a seven-game winning streak. That oddsmakers number did not hold up and the Wild have shifted to -110 favorites and are is 10-1 against poor defensive teams allowing opponents to average 29.5+ shots on goal this season. 3DW PositionWinnipeg wins
