NFL – Thursday (101) CLEVELAND at (102) PITTSBURGH  8:25 EST NFL Network

On Monday, Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy reported to work having to use a handrail, gingerly moving to walk down the steps to the Browns training facility. McCoy suffered a sprain knee against Baltimore Sunday, but did manage to participate in a full practice on Tuesday. McCoy’s presume lack of mobility and his team’s offense was reason enough for the total to fall from 39.5 to 38.5. Cleveland only scores 14.6 points per game to begin with and facing Pittsburgh’s aggressive defense would figure to only further curtail the Browns offense. Cleveland’s defense has played well this season and is the other factor why the Brownies are 9-2 UNDER since Week 3. Interestingly, the Steelers are 20-9 OVER after a division encounter. Update – As of the morning, there has been a huge shift in the total, with most wagering outlets all the way up to 40 points.  3DW PositionPlay Under

CBB – (541) BOSTON COLLEGE at (542) PROVIDENCE 7:00 EST

It has been a nightmare start for Boston College who sits at 2-6. Poor shooting is to blame as the Eagles are only scoring 58.3 points per game and converting on a wallowing 38.3 percent of attempts. Based on the fact Providence has held opposing teams to 38.9 percent on field goal tries, the total has been sinking fast. Oddsmakers released this contest at 141.5 and it has tumbled to 138. Maybe this team will be completely different, but B.C. is 14-4 OVER in December road games. 3DW Position – Play Under

    CBB – (549) WEST VIRGINIA vs. (550) KANSAS STATE 9:00 EST  ESPN2

Bob Huggins has left a mark at each stop of his coaching career and returns to face Kansas State, where he led a revival that still continues today. Huggins’s West Virginia team began as two-point underdog for this contest being held in Wichita and have been bumped to +5. The Mountaineers do have experienced players; however they also have a number of newcomers that are playing significant minutes. The Wildcats have the more veteran squad, which has influenced the betting line. 3DW PositionKansas State covers

NHL – (17) ANAHEIM at (18) ST. LOUIS  8:05 EST  FSPT, FSMW

The Anaheim Ducks earned their first win under new coach Bruce Boudreau Tuesday against Los Angeles 3-2 and will attempt to make two straight for the first time Oct. 16-17 in St. Louis. Hockey bettors do not like their chances having taken them from +155 to +175. It’s understandable why the Ducks are not getting support since they have lost three straight in St. Louis and are 3-10 having lost eight or more of their last 10 games this season. 3DW PositionSt. Louis wins
