The Under is Enticing at The Big A in Anaheim Monday

Kansas City has at least gotten competitive, though a long season certainly remains in store. The Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles will look to build on first home series win in a month against the Royals.

With no real intention of winning this season, Kansas City began the year 14-33 and gave every indication they were going to fight tooth and nail with Baltimore and the White Sox for the worst record in the American League. However, the Royals have shown a pulse in winning seven of their last dozen games as they open up a West Coast trip.

In spite of only scoring 11 runs against Texas, the Angels took their first home series since sweeping Baltimore on May 1-3. The MLB odds have the Halos at -180 with the total at Un8.5 (-120). What should you be on tonight for MLB picks?

Pitching Matchup Does Not Reflect Money Line

Though Danny Duffy’s numbers do not look very good at 2-6 with a 5.71 ERA, his last two starts have been much better, permitting two runs in 13.2 innings. Duffy’s problems this year have revolved around walking a hitter every other inning on average and giving up 14 deep shots in 12 starts. When he’s spotting the fastball and hitting the corners with his breaking pitches, he’s a tough hombre. The Royals lefty is 2-1 in his career against the Angels with a 3.46 ERA.
