Just two games on the NHL slate on Wednesday evening. One is a divisional confrontation with two clubs from Atlantic that looks like real mismatch.
Ottawa (19-28-5, 19-33 SU) at Toronto (32-17-3, 32-20 SU)
The Toronto Maple Leafs are tied for the fourth-best record in the NHL with 67 points. Their goal differential of +39 is tied for the third-best mark. About the only aspect Toronto has not been all that good is making money for those using them forNHL picks at -0.7, largely because they were the preseason favorites to win the Stanley Cup and for the most part have been priced accordingly.
Looking strictly at wagering, the Leafs have been a lousy larger favorite. When they have been at -180 or higher, Toronto is just 7-6 SU and lost 6.65 units, which includes three defeats at -230 or larger.
