Stanley Cup Playoffs Day 29: Consider The Sharks and Over For Game 7

It’s another Game 7 in the Western Conference semi-finals. The winner moves on and will be one series away from playing for the Stanley Cup.

Colorado (7-4 SU Playoffs) at San Jose (7-6 SU Playoffs)

The winner of the last game of the conference semi-finals advance to the West Conference Finals. For San Jose since the start of the season that was what they were expected to do. For Colorado, they are already playing with house money and could join Carolina as another stunning club to reach the Final Four in the NHL.

Though home-ice advantage does not always work out in the playoffs, as we have seen time and time again when it comes to a Game 7, every team wants that contest in familiar surroundings and in front of their fans.

The NHL odds have San Jose as -130 to -135 money line home favorites with the total at Ov5.5 (-120). Here is how each team can win and how to view the total.

How Colorado Wins Game 7

There is definitely more pressure on San Jose to win, as they were the series favorite and among the teams expected to win the Stanley Cup back in October. Colorado was thought to be improved with several young stars in the making, but playing in early May was not given consideration.
