Let’s not waste any time and get right to the Saturday line moves. Take a minute to review all the betting trends and our free picks (78-57 of late) to see what we are thinking. See you back here Monday.

MLB – (953) MIAMI at (954) ATLANTA  4:10 ET  FSFL, FSSE

Wei-Yin Chen (3-2, 4.61 ERA) has not done anything special for Miami, but he has certainly been better than Atlanta rookie Aaron Blair (0-3, 7.59). Though the Braves won only their third game of the season last night at Turner Field, they have fallen from +140 to +115 home favorites. Seeing it would appear the bullpens will play a large part in this contest, have to go against the Bravos.

Betting Trend – 94% backing Miami

Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Miami

MLB – (961) ST. LOUIS at (962) WASHINGTON  7:15 ET  FOX (Regional)

Adam Wainwright (4-3, 5.77) has not come close to the pitcher we are used to seeing, but he and St. Louis have dipped as road underdogs from +130 to +110 versus Gio Gonzalez (3-2, 2.87) and Washington. Wainwright has won his last four regular season starts against the Nationals, posting a 1.19 ERA. However, the Cards right-hander’s ERA ranks among the NL’s worst and his 5.46 strikeouts per nine innings is the poorest in the NL. Not much to choose from here and would slightly lean with the Nats on value.

Betting Trend – 92% backing Washington

Doug’s VPID Take – Slight lean Washington

MLB – (969) DETROIT at (970) OAKLAND  4:10 ET  FSD, CSN-CA

With erratic Jesse Hahn (1-2, 4.07) for Oakland and Matt Boyd making a spot start for Detroit for an injured Jordan Zimmermann, the total has climbed from 8.5 to 9 in afternoon action. The Tigers offense figures to take some good swings at Hahn, averaging 5.9 RPG in winning nine of 11. The A’s offense has been stuck in neutral, but is 14-4 OVER with an on-base percentage of .300 or worse over their last 15 games this season.

Betting Trend – 51% backing Over

Doug’s VPID Take – Play Over

MLB – (979) PITTSBURGH at (980) TEXAS  7:15 ET  FOX (Regional)

www.vegasproinsidersdaily.com	Tonight is the much anticipated debut of Yu Darvish, coming back from elbow surgery. Darvish might be coming back at the wrong time, since Pittsburgh is on 10-2 streak and it’s offense is averaging 6.1 RPG in this stretch.  Baseball bettors think so and have dumped the Rangers from -155 to -125, the night after the Pirates hammered Cole Hamels. With Darvish on a pitch count and Texas having the worst bullpen in the AL, the Bucs looked poised to move to 11-2 in road games versus AL teams allowing 4.7 or less runs a game the last two seasons.

Betting Trend – 63% backing Pittsburgh

Doug’s VPID Take – Pittsburgh wins

Public Consensus Record – 51% to 79% – 92-102-1

Public Consensus Record – 80% or Higher – 78-61-1
