NBA – (505) PHILADELPHIA at (506) DETROIT 7:35 ET CSP, FSD
It would not be an exaggeration to say the Washington Generals play better defense against Globetrotters than what Philadelphia is playing lately. In the Sixers past four games, they have allowed 122 points a game and this is why the total has charged from 208 to 210.5 despite Detroit only averaging 93.8 PPG in their last five contests. When I discovered the 76ers are 15-3 UNDER on the road when the total is 210 or higher the last three seasons, I went the other way.

Doug’s VPID Take – Play Under
NBA – (509) GOLDEN STATE at (510) MIAMI 7:35 ET CSN-BAY, SUN
Here is something you have not seen often this season, a Golden State total going down. That’s right, the Warriors are at Miami and the number has slipped from 216 to 214. Golden State is 3-1 UNDER thus far on the seven-game road trip and the Heat are very patient on offense, averaging close to seven fewer shots a game then Curry and company, ranked 29th in attempts. My initial reaction was to support the line movement, then I found out the Warriors off their 102-92 win at Atlanta Monday, in their next contest after scoring less than 106 points this these season, the average total score in next outing was 226.5.

CBB – (525) GEOR. WASHINGTON at (526) RICHMOND 7:00 ET RSN Aff.
The total in this A-10 encounter took the biggest dip of any game on the board as of midday from 150 to 146.5. I would like to tell you I understand why, but I do not. We know George Washington is 7-3 UNDER away from home this year and like most teams its offense does not perform as well on the road at just 69.8 PPG. However, this is a little different Richmond squad, who still shots at a high percentage (49.1%) and also scores 77.9 PPG. Having just fallen 87-74 at VCU, the Spiders are 10-0 OVER off a road loss since last season.
Betting Trend – 93% backing Over
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Over
CBB – (559) WISCONSIN at (560) IOWA 9:00 ET BTN
Off an absolutely stunning loss at Penn State, Iowa is tied with Indiana with fewest defeats (3) in Big Ten action. With Wisconsin having won eight of nine (7-2 ATS), hoops bettors have dumped the Hawkeyes from -8 to -6.5 at Iowa City. The Badgers lone setback was to fast-charging Michigan State and Iowa has failed to cover the spread three consecutive times, causing consternation. If the Hawkeyes are legit Elite 8 for Final 4 team, they win and cover this game and the loss to Nittany Lions is gone, but a non-cover or six straight defeat against Bucky Badgers raises a lot more questions.
Betting Trend – 65% backing Wisconsin
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Wisconsin
