Baseball is off and running and the NBA is back after a day off and we have all the line moves to contemplate. We were going to include the Cavs/Bucks total falling until we saw Milwaukee’s leading scorer Kris Middleton is doubtful. Also, take a minute to review all the betting trends and our free picks to see what we are thinking. See you back here tomorrow.

NBA – (701) NEW ORLEANS at (702) PHILADELPHIA 7:05 ET  FSNO, CSP

Sometimes just amazed at hardcore bettors and what they see and possibly find. The Pelicans and 76ers ranks up there with a spam sandwich in terms of interest, yet the total has skyrocketed from 202 to 207. Both teams have lost a ton of players, thus, unless Stephen Curry or Kevin Durant were traded to either team, not sure what would cause this to happen. The betting trend gives no indication of why this occurred, thus, influential money was wagered, yet I find New Orleans is 11-2 UNDER in nonconference road games this season and I will head that direction.

Betting Trend – 62% backing Under

Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Under

NBA – (713) SAN ANTONIO at (714) UTAH  9:05 ET  CSP, FSSW, ROOT-RM+

www.vegasproinsidersdaily.comThe top two defensive teams based on points allowed collided tonight in Salt Lake City and the total has plummeted from 186 to 183. Besides the outstanding defense and somewhat slower pace both are likely to play, the UNDER is 4-1 at Utah in recent games. The wild card element seems to be San Antonio, who has scored anywhere from 81 to 123 points in last four meetings, while nothing funky about the Jazz, totaling 79.5 points a contest in same time span. Have a long convoluted total systems that is a little confusing to read, but this is not, Utah as the home team is 31-8 UNDER in this a spot.

Betting Trend – 89% backing Over

Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Under

MLB – (901) ST. LOUIS at (902) PITTSBURGH 7:05 ET  FSMW

The total on this Central showdown has fallen from 7.5 to 7. Michael Wacha’s expected to do his part for St. Louis, as he is 4-0 with a 1.89 ERA in his first six starts against the Pittsburgh. The Pirates will counter with Jon Neise, formerly of the Mets, who has been both good and bad against the Cardinals. The lefthander had a rough spring and is 0-2 with a 5.30 ERA in his last three starts against the Cards after going 4-1 with a 1.87 ERA in his first six. The Bucs were 14-5 OVER last season with a day off, but the Redbirds were 10-1 UNDER after not putting an extra base hit on the board. For my money, this has makings of 3-2 outcome.

Betting Trend – 75% backing Over

Doug’s VPID Take – Play Under

MLB – (905) COLORADO at (906) ARIZONA  9:40 ET  ROOT-NW, FSAZ+

With Zack Greinke off his worst outing in nearly four years, those betting baseball are wary of Arizona and dropped them from -165 to -130 favorites over Colorado. Besides Greinke getting hammered, the other story was rookie shortstop Trevor Story making big league debut with two home runs, both off D-Backs high-priced pitcher. Shelby Miller makes his first start for the Snakes against Chad Bettis. Though Arizona lost 10-5, they still cranked out 15 hits and should even the series at new value price.

Betting Trend – 93% backing Arizona

Doug’s VPID Take Arizona wins
