NFL Top Totals Plays for Wild Card Weekend

It is playoff time! As opposed to other methods of, totals are totals, wagering in football thus, the thought process is not altered by postseason competition. You choose Over, Under or Pass.

When looking at the NFL odds, for the most part you only have better quality teams among the dozen remaining, which makes choosing sides that much for difficult. With totals, the level of competition does not matter. You do your homework and make a decision. Turnovers are likely to influence that outcome no matter what, but generally speaking they have greater impact on sides more than totals.

Last week for NFL picks we were 2-1 and continued our sterling season, raising record to 30-17-1, 63.8 percent. Here is what I have for Wild Card weekend!

Tennessee Offense, Kansas City Defense Leads to Fewer Points

The Tennessee offense has been underachieving all year 20.9 points per game, facing opponents that have allowed 22.5 PPG. On the road, Marcus Mariota and Titans are even worse, as the point total dips to 17.5 PPG. Kansas City closed the season in fine fashion at 4-0 SU and ATS. The return of the offense is what grabbed the headlines, however, the defense did their part in permitting only 16.2 PPG in that stretch. Additionally, the Chiefs defense has been stout at home all year in permitting 16.9 PPG and should contain Tennessee for all 60 minutes.
