In last NBA props article, went a stellar 5-1, leaving me 8-2 of late and I will attempt to build on those winners. Betting these props can be a load of fun but make sure to do research.

Today I have three NBA picks for props on today’s limited schedule and they are the best of the bunch I could uncover and I snuck in a college basketball first half play I also liked.

Let’s get after the NBA odds with these prop wagers.

Suns vs. Heat – First Half Line is (+/-) 7 (-110)

A rather compelling argument can be made Phoenix is the worst team in the NBA, having lost 29 of 31 (10-21 ATS) and are frequently not even competing, rather going through the motions. Injuries wiped out two key players in backcourt and lack of chemistry poisoned everything else. The Suns almost always are starting slow and with Miami 5-1-1 ATS in recent first halves, they have a ripe opponent to jump on quick and bury later. Phoenix lack of interest, talent or both, is found in the fact they are 3-12 versus the first half line after allowing 100 or more points in four straight games this season, trailing at the half by an average of 10.1 points a contest.

Prop Play – Heat -7 for First Half

Suns vs. Heat – First Team to Reach 20 Points

With the aforementioned slow starts by Phoenix, it would seem unlikely they would start hot. Now I am the first to admit with Miami coming off season-high 67.5 percent shooting night, they might need a heat check to see how they feel in the beginning. At -200, some might think this is risky and I will not disagree. But given how the Heat have started lately and how the Suns are playing, this would compare to last’s night Washington and Toronto hockey game, where you knew who was going to win the game and if you wanted to pick up the cash you had to pay the price upfront to collect the cash later.

Prop Play – Heat Scores 20 Points First (-200)

Kings vs. Mavericks – First Half Line is (+/-) 3.5 (-110)

Against Dallas, Sacramento has caused a few problems for the Mavs with 7-1-1 ATS mark despite winning only twice. That would including covering the past two meetings, which might make them a half time play. Yet the Dallas offense has really been sparking in scoring 120.6 PPG in their last five, while the Kings NBA-worst defense has been even easier to score on over same stretch at 114 PPG. With the Mavericks 6-3 ATS in recent first half wagers, Sac-Town 3-12 ATS in their last 15 and Dallas having covered three straight after two quarters against the Kings, I’ll give the -3.5.

Prop Play – Mavericks -3.5 for First Half

    Georgia Southern vs. UL-Monroe – First Half Line is (+/-) 4.5 (-110)

Rest assured this prop bet will not be on everyone’s radar, but it is on mine. What I like here is how UL-Monroe has roared down the stretch at 11-1 and 10-2 ATS. This season at home, the Warhawks are 11-0 and 8-1 ATS, winning by 16.7 points a game. Georgia Southern in no slouch at 12-6 ATS in Sun Belt Conference action and they defeated UL-Monroe 66-51 back on Jan. 16th. Nonetheless, the Warhawks are 19-5 ATS in lined games for the first half and since loss to Eagles, they are 10-1-1 ATS at halftime. Too many good numbers to pass up for outstanding home team playing with revenge.

Prop Play – UL-Monroe -4.5 for First Half
