With so many big college basketball games ahead on Thursday’s, this might be out last full throttle line moves in all the major sports for a couple of weeks. Take a minute to review all the betting trends and our free picks, to see what we are thinking. See you back here tomorrow.

NBA – (705) OKLAHOMA CITY at (706) PORTLAND 10:35 ET TNT

At this point, nobody trusts the Trail Blazers. Portland has lost seven of nine (1-8 ATS) and even when they do something good like they did in Detroit in previous outing, like make 52.4 percent of shot attempts, but they also committed 24 turnovers in that setback. With that the Blazers have been altered from -1.5 to +1 home underdogs against Oklahoma City. The Thunder has gotten in a good groove of winning by covering four in a row and are 8-2 ATS in last 10 and should be ready to open road trip in style.

Betting Trend – 82% backing Oklahoma City

CBB – (713) FLORIDA INT. at (714) MID. TENN. STATE  7:35 ET  W-ESPN

www.vegasproinsidersdaily.com College basketball bettors realize this is the best and worst C-USA has to offer this season and the thinking is regular season champion Middle Tennessee State will not be at their best and been lowered two points to -18.5 versus Florida International. Despite FIU’s moribund 0-14 road record, they are 6-5 ATS away from home, but the Blue Raiders understand a full effort is unlikely to be required against the Panthers. With Senior Day on Saturday for M.T.S., have to concur the home team will build a 14 to 16-point lead and put this on cruise control.

Betting Trend – 76% backing FIU

CBB – (737) IOWA at (738) WISCONSIN 9:00 ET  ESPN

With Wisconsin probably having blown chance to win the Big Ten with back to back losses, the Badgers set their sights on locking down No. 2 seed for next week’s tourney. This starts with a home game against rival Iowa and those betting basketball see Wisconsin busting out and elevated them from -10.5 to -12.5. Iowa has not fared well away from Iowa City with 3-9 an 3-8 ATS record. The Badgers need a game or two to restore confidence and the Hawkeyes might be the perfect opponent to make that happen.

Betting Trend – 88% backing Iowa

Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Wisconsin

NHL – (51) N.Y. RANGERS at (52) BOSTON 7:05 ET  NBCSN

I was among those that criticized the Boston front office for making coaching change, but it looks like I might need a slice of humble pie. Since interim coach Bruce Cassidy took over, the Bruins are 7-1 and the entire club has broken out of previous lethargy. That and some tweaks on both sides of the ice has Boston rolling. While Boston continues to battle to make the playoffs, New York appears safely in the postseason, but is battling injury bug, which played a part in past two losses. The Rangers have only lost three straight once this season, (the middle of January), but are 21-8 in the road sweaters. Bettors are convinced Boston stays hot and moved them from -145 to -160 or higher. Frankly, there is a lot to love about New York, but playing hunch on a hot squad.

Betting Trend – 96% backing Boston
