Friday Night Lights: Memphis Tigers Take Down Tulane

It is Friday night under the lights in AAC action, with Tulane making the trip to Memphis. This will have an 8:00 EDT start on the CBS Sports Network. Can Memphis top last week’s effort at Houston?

The Tigers trailed 17-0 at the half and 24-7 in the second half and then went nuts, ending up with 35 more points in the final 20 minutes to escape 42-38 as a single digit road underdog.

Tulane (3-4 SU) moved to 5-2 ATS with a cover over unbeaten South Florida, falling 34-28 as 10-point home underdogs.

The college football odds have Memphis (6-1, 3-4 ATS) at -10.5 with total of 66, so let’s dig in.

Memphis Wins and Covers By….

Quarterback Riley Ferguson is the triggerman of the 10th-best passing offense in the country at 333.4 yards a game. Ferguson is not doing this by himself and he expertly moves the ball around, with nine different pass-catchers having nine or more receptions, led by Anthony Miller with 55 (nine TD’s).
