Finding Different Ways To Cash When Betting College Football – Part 2

RBB UT BYU 2014 10

In our previous article, we talked about having fun and placing wagers on teams to win their conferences or at the very least their divisions within a given conference. The idea was to not bet on all the obvious teams that will be in the Top 10 but seek longer odds on those who have a realistic chance to capture a crown.

Last week we said the odds probably would not be out for a while, but 5Dimes and other have released a number of odds on various conferences, which turns out to be great timing for us.

Big 12 Teams To Ponder

Oklahoma is the favorite, but lurking right behind them is Texas and West Virginia. The Longhorns have good quarterbacks but need the offensive line to step up. If that happens Texas has home games against TCU and West Virginia which helps them.

Offensively, West Virginia is loaded and Will Grier might be the best quarterback in the country. If the Mountaineers defense can take two steps forward, this becomes a dangerous squad. West Virginia also has Kansas State, TCU, and Oklahoma in Morgantown.

Potential AAC Money-Maker

Central Florida looks like a lock to return to the AAC title tilt and is a strong favorite to repeat as champion. Our interest is in the West Division where Navy sits behind Memphis. The Midshipmen seldom have great talent, but they always play cohesively. They start the year with three capable quarterbacks, which gives them flexibility. On Sept. 8th, Navy hosts Memphis and they are 17-2 SU at home the last three years. Win that game and the Middies control their destiny.
