College Football Underdogs Who Can Outright

As we head into Week 2 of college football, as we witnessed last weekend, other than Alabama, everyone has weaknesses and those that solve them first have the best chance at success. Once again this week we will be scouring the college football odds, looking for the favorites that are priced right or underdogs who have value.

For this article, we have a two-pronged approach, we are after underdogs who will not only cover, but have the potential to win outright and could offer value in making college football picks on the money line with them.

Here is our terrific trio with odds from A+ rated 5Dimes, who users believe is the best sportsbook.

Rice To Capitalize on Public Perception

The Rice Owls were no match for Western Kentucky, losing 46-14, giving up over 550 yard passing and better than 20 yards per completion. Army West Point engineered and under the radar upset of Temple, rushing for 329 yards in stunningly easy 28-13 triumph.

Army opened as -8.5 home favorite and have been lifted to -10, which frankly seems absurd. The Black Knights might well be improved, but they have lost four in a row to the Owls, including the last two years.

The last time Army was this big a favorite against a FBS opponent was 2006 and they were clobbered 48-14 giving -11 points to who, Rice. Seeing this as four-point game either way.
