Betting Odds – NBA and College Basketball Prop Bets for Feb. 9th

Time to look ahead to basketball betting props for a Tuesday. With fewer NBA betting odds because of  fewer games, not as much to find value with for prop bets despite a myriad of choices.

When doing research to find opportunities against the NBA odds, did not find as much among the five games on the docket, which is why we dipped into the college game for a what appears to be a far better situation to make money on.

This is what we are looking at today.

Celtics vs. Bucks – First Team to Score 20 Points (-115)

The Boston Celtics have won nine of 10 with eight covers and its offense is singeing the nets. Boston is average 105 points per game to begin with, which is fourth in the NBA and in their past 15 contests, they have resembled, at least by the numbers, Golden State, in averaging over 111 PPG. With Milwaukee having a very disappointing campaign, besides this team not playing together, they have slipped from 5th in field goal percentage defense to 19th. This seems like ideal spot for Boston to take advantage of disjointed squad and reach the 20-point barrier before the Bucks do.

 Rockets vs. Warriors – S. Curry O/U 42 Points+Assists+Rebounds (-115)

Stephen Curry was magnificent in scoring 51 points last Wednesday at Washington, but a closer look at his recent numbers is the four surrounding games around that performance finds he has only averaged 19 PPG, with a few off shooting nights. Curry had one other stretch like this season and it was at the end of December, before he sat out a couple games with injury. With Houston 27th in road points allowed (107.7) and 29th in field goals percentage defense away from home (48.1), this sure looks like the right spot for Curry to surpass his league-leading 29.8 PPG scoring average. If correct on scoring, Curry has averaged 13.7 assists and rebounds, the past seven times he has reached 30 points or better.
