2018 Pittsburgh Over/Under Season Win Total – More Focused Steelers Are Money As OVER Play

While the Pittsburgh players have no doubt moved on from 45-42 upset loss to Jacksonville in the playoffs, Steelers fans have found that more difficult to let that go after their team’s arrogant display.

After an outstanding regular season and being jobbed by referee’s in late season loss to New England that cost the top-seed in the AFC, Pittsburgh was relishing a rematch with the Patriots. One problem, the old cliché – one game at a time – bit them, with a look ahead performance against Jacksonville. They were whipped at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball as seven-point home favorites.

That loss left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths, including Ben Roethlisberger, who went from thinking about retirement before the 2017 season to say he wanted to play at least three more years after the Jaguars stunner.

This makes it interesting to see how focused they are from the start of the season and the way their early schedule looks, a 7-0 start is quite possible.

With Baltimore and Cincinnati seeking answers, the NFL odds at Bovada have Pittsburgh as overwhelming favorites to win the AFC North.

Odds to Win AFC North – -260  – 1st

Odds to Win the AFC – +420  – 2nd

Though Pittsburgh has beaten the oddsmakers three straight years on season win totals, it is worth noting not everyone is convinced this Steelers club will be better than last year’s as the juice on their 2018 win total is trending negatively with an Under 10.5.
