MLB – (901) WASHINGTON at (902) PHILADELPHIA 7:05 ET MASN2,CSP
Washington snagged the opener of the series yesterday 4-3 to build its lead over confounding Philadelphia. The Nationals are crumbling as -145 favorites behind Joe Ross (4-4, 2.52 ERA) to -115 or less because of two elements. It starts with Bryce Harper’s availability, after being hit in the knee yesterday, since he’s been nothing but troubles for the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park and might have to sit. Also, there is Aaron Nola (4-3, 2.86), who since giving up seven runs to Washington on April 16, is 4-1 with a 1.72 ERA in seven starts while allowing three earned runs once. Make sure to check if Harper is in the lineup and if so, the Nats offer good value in this spot.
Betting Trend – 80% backing Washington
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Washington
MLB – (915) BOSTON at (916) BALTIMORE 7:05 ET NESN, MASN
Boston extended its lead over Baltimore to two games with 7-2 defeat of the O’s Monday. The Red Sox continue to crush the baseball and have the major league’s best offense at 5.9 runs per contest. Kevin Gausman (0-2, 3.24) will try and cool off the BoSox sluggers and Eduardo Rodriguez makes his season debut after suffering dislocated right kneecap sustained during spring training for Boston. Bettors made a move on the total, lowering it from 9 to 8.5. The Orioles offense has been in a funk averaging 3.3 RPG in last nine and they are 11-2 UNDER against division opponents this season. However, the Red Sox are 12-4 OVER after batting .290 or better over a 20-game span this season.
Betting Trend – 90% backing Over

MLB – (921) DETROIT at (922) L.A.A. ANGELS 10:05 ET FSD, FSW
The Angels have won eight straight home games against Detroit and 14 of the last 15 at the Big A. Having won yesterday as underdogs versus Justin Verlander, the sentiment is they can handle a scuffling Anibal Sanchez (3-6, 6.04) and they have been flipped from +105 underdogs to -109 favorites. In spite of the dominance, have to worry about the Halos in some manor because Hector Santiago (3-3, 4.58) has been drilled in last two starts, permitting 10 runs in five total innings. Nonetheless, the Angels have to quite confident about the matchup and the Tigers are 4-14 after two straight games where they stranded five or less runners on base since last season.
Betting Trend – 80% backing Detroit
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Angels
MLB – (925) HOUSTON at (926) ARIZONA 3:40 ET ROOT-SW, FSAZ
In one of the two interleague afternoon affairs, the money is flowing towards visiting Houston, whose won six of seven compared to Arizona, whose dumped five of seven and is 9-19 at Chase Field. Houston started at -105 and is now up to -140. Neither Lance McCullers (1-1, 4.60) nor Patrick Corbin (2-4, 4.21) has been in top form, which could send this contest to the bullpens. At this moment, that should favor the Astros, whose pensters have 1.35 ERA in the last 12 games.
Betting Trend – 84% backing Houston
Doug’s VPID Take – Lean Houston
